Kim Hansen - OSHA Trainer UpdateCongratulations to Kim Hansen for completing the OSHA 502 - Update for Construction Industry Trainers. Whirlpool Update As you can see by the latest Whirlpool Jobsite photo, the project has come a long way. Since this photo, there has been a tremendous amount of work completed by all contractors. We have met the first major milestones for this project by turning permanent power on to the new facility on 9-22-2011 and all sub-stations check out great. We have also powered up the owners equipment on 9-26-2011 and 10-2-2011. We are presently working lots on overtime to meet the rigorous schedule. We now are working on the Communication Contract that Randy Witty was able to win. Dale Carter won the Building Management Contract with Enterprise Mechanical. We currently have over 40 people on site. The start date of phase two of the project has not been determined. From what we are hearing from the Whirlpool folks, we might have to demobilize and mobilize another day. Pennyrile Job SiteWe are proud to share the following letter we received regarding the Pennyrile Job Site ...
Dear Mr. Mosley:
As our warehouse project draws to a conclusion, I would be remiss if I did not express our complete satisfaction with Dale Campbell as the Electrical Superintendent. Plain and simple, Dale did an outstanding job! He is customer-service oriented, and did everything under the sun to please us. He has a "can do" attitude and never displayed anger when things weren't going right. Dale's knowledge really came to light when we wanted to make changes and didn't really know what to ask for. He guided us through all available options. He is very good when it comes to working with, and leading others - a real team player.
You have a jewel working for you. Thank you for sending him to us on this project.
Sincerely, Barney Bishop, Project Coordinator
Dale Carter, Contractors LicenseCongratulations Dale Carter for the acquisition of your Kentucky State Contractors License! We understand that it takes a great deal of aptitude, effort and determination to achieve such a challenging goal and we only hope that your experience working with M&L has contributed in some small way to your success.

Toyo Tire North America, White GeorgiaWe re just completing the installation of the Curing Presses at Toyo Tire and we received the following letter from the client: 8/18/11 John Wages, Field Manager KSBI Mr. Curtis White, Vice President M&L Electrical, Inc. Curtis, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank M&L for another successful installation of Curing Presses here at Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing for Kobelco Stewart Bolling, Inc. As always, the electrical and communications installation has been delivered on time and with the level of expertise that M&L is known for. I also wanted to express my thanks to Mr. Warner for his excellent management and delivery of services on this project and all previous work he and his crews have provided me on TNA projects. I can proudly say Choya exemplifies all that a person can want from an electrician. His skill level, attention to detail and his ability to see the end result and then deliver are values hard to find in individuals in this day and age. I know you are aware of Choya's abilities and I want to reinforce his value to M&L. My thanks to all of your employees that have worked with me at TNA from the mixing project through the curing projects. Heath, Gene, James and Derrick were all instrumental in our successes in the Curing Press Installation. You and the staff at M&L have made the electrical portions the most well managed and pleasant experience. As a Field Manager, I cannot ask for a better partner than M&L Electrical. Thank you for your support on another successful delivery to our end user TNA. Respectfully, John Wages, Field Manager KSBI Country Oven Bakery, Bowling Green, KentuckyWe were recently awarded the Arc Flash Coordination Study for the 2010 Country Oven Bakery Expansion project. Joe Logsdon recently attended and obtained re-certification in the Notifier Advanced Applications Course in Chicago. *The National Institute for Re-Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1961 to provide a nationally recognized and accepted procedure for recognition of qualified engineering technicians and technologists. NHK ProjectWe received our temporary occupancy approval at NHK for Building #1 & #3 in Murfreesboro Tenenssee. This project is on track for final completion the end of June 2011. Whirlpool Job Site During all the tornado outbreaks this past month, Cleveland Tennessee received some pretty heavy damage. In light of this damage, a number of the M&L Electrical, Inc. employees on the Whirlpool Job site helped the community of Cleveland with clean-up. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the communities that were hit by the recent weather outbreaks. Third Contract at Eastman ChemicalThanks to a growing relationship with Mustang Engineering and Eastman Kodak, the Tennessee office has been awarded it's third contract at Eastman Chemical in Kinsgport, TN. This contract will consist of the fire alarm for the new EAW1 addition. Butch Ramsey will be the Superintendent on this project. Fabrication Shop We are proud to announce that the prefabrication shop is up, running and producing results. Working out of the existing lower warehouse, we are working on lighting control panels, cable tray support brackets, as well as preassembling the site lighting for NHK project. With the constant need to find a competitive edge, reduce the duration of our schedules, and reduce the footprint of material stored on a project, we feel the need has been there for M&L to get involved in prefabricating more products for our projects. We are starting with small projects and moving towards larger scopes of work in the future. The idea behind it is to take time consuming or repetitive tasks off the project site and put it in a controlled environment for faster production. We will also use it for the occasional offset, or bracket that needs to be quickly produced. Having this facility will allow us to eliminate most of the set-up cost associated with producing just one offset or bracket. We know a prefabrication facility will give us a competitive edge today, and a solid platform to build on in the future. Eastman Job Site The Tennessee Office has been on site at Eastman Chemical since January 2011 with Brandon Givens as Project Manager and Tim Bacorn as the Superintendent. Eastman Kodak is a 900 acre Chemical facility located in Kingsport, Tennessee. M & L has been awarded two contracts this year with Mustang Engineering on this site which include Power Distribution, Lighting and Equipment Installation. Whirlpool Job Site The Whirlpool job site is well underway with Curtis White as Project Manager and Dale Ledbetter as Superintendent. This is a design-build project located in Cleveland Tennessee. This project will last three years and be done in three phases. It is a one million square foot production facility that consists of lighting, medium voltage site distribution, 480V distribution, fire alarm and paging. You will be hearing a lot more about this project as it progresses.
